Description
Overview
A fine-finish TCT circular saw blade for compact mitre saws and hand-held circular saws. A high tooth count leaves a clean, splinter-free edge for crosscuts, trim work and sheet goods.
Applications
- Clean crosscuts and mitres
- Skirting, architraves and other trim
- Plywood and laminated sheet
- Best results in laminated sandwich panels, pine and other medium-soft timbers
- Not recommended for chipboard (particleboard), MDF and other fibre boards, veneered board or hardboard
Features
- Tungsten carbide tipped teeth hold their edge far longer than plain steel blades.
- Alternate top bevel teeth shear the wood fibres for a neat edge with minimal tear-out.
- Sold as a single blade or in value multi-packs.
Fitting & safety
- Match the rotation arrow on the blade to the direction marked on your saw's guard.
- Check the bore matches your saw's arbor before fitting. Never force a blade onto the spindle or enlarge the bore.
- Make sure your saw's no-load speed is no higher than the blade's maximum speed (see specifications).
- Remove nails, screws and staples before cutting. Carbide tips chip on hidden metal.
- Wear safety glasses and hearing protection, keep the guard in place and let the blade reach full speed before it touches the work.
