Description
Overview
A polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tipped blade for cutting fibre cement sheet on mitre saws, sliding compound saws and table saws. It cuts all densities and thicknesses of fibre cement sheeting faster and cleaner than standard blades.
Applications
- Fibre cement cladding and weatherboards
- Eaves lining and soffit sheets
- Wet-area and compressed fibre cement sheet
- Fibre cement planks and panels
Features
- Specially formulated polycrystalline diamond teeth handle highly abrasive fibre cement and far outlast carbide-tipped blades.
- A few large diamond teeth instead of many carbide ones, for fast cutting through dense sheet.
Fitting & safety
- Match the rotation arrow on the blade to the direction marked on your saw's guard.
- Check the bore matches your saw's arbor before fitting. Never force a blade onto the spindle or enlarge the bore.
- Cutting fibre cement releases crystalline silica dust. Cut outdoors, use dust extraction and wear a P2 (or better) respirator.
- For fibre cement only. Do not use on timber that may contain nails, or on metal.
- Wear safety glasses and hearing protection, keep the guard in place and let the blade reach full speed before it touches the work.
