Description

Overview

An ultra-fine finish TCT circular saw blade for large table saws, site saws and radial-arm saws. A very high tooth count gives the smoothest finish in the range, for visible edges, mouldings and laminated panels.

Applications

  • Splinter-free cuts in laminated panels
  • Mouldings, trims and fine joinery
  • Cabinet and furniture work
  • Best results in laminated sandwich panels, pine and other medium-soft timbers
  • Not recommended for chipboard (particleboard), MDF and other fibre boards, veneered board or hardboard

Features

  • Tungsten carbide tipped teeth hold their edge far longer than plain steel blades.
  • Alternate top bevel teeth shear the wood fibres for a neat edge with minimal tear-out.
  • Heavy-duty kerf and body for stable, straight cuts on larger machines.
  • Reducer rings let one blade fit saws with any of the listed bore sizes.
  • Sold as a single blade or in value multi-packs.

Fitting & safety

  • Match the rotation arrow on the blade to the direction marked on your saw's guard.
  • Fit the reducer ring that matches your saw's arbor so the blade sits centred, then tighten the flange firmly.
  • Make sure your saw's no-load speed is no higher than the blade's maximum speed (see specifications).
  • Remove nails, screws and staples before cutting. Carbide tips chip on hidden metal.
  • Wear safety glasses and hearing protection, keep the guard in place and let the blade reach full speed before it touches the work.
