Description
Overview
A heavy-grade silent-core diamond blade for bridge saws and stone cutting machines, made specifically for artificial (engineered) stone. The silent core damps noise and vibration for a quieter, smoother cut.
Applications
- Artificial (engineered) stone slabs
- Benchtop removal, repair and modification work
- Straight cuts on bridge saws and stone saws
- Cutting existing engineered stone where regulations allow
Features
- Silent (sound-damped) steel core reduces noise and vibration.
- Heavy-grade diamond segments matched to dense, abrasive engineered stone.
- Large centre bore suits stone bridge saws.
Fitting & safety
- Match the rotation arrow on the blade to the direction marked on your saw's guard.
- Check the bore matches your saw's arbor before fitting. Never force a blade onto the spindle or enlarge the bore.
- Always cut wet with water suppression. Engineered stone contains very high levels of crystalline silica.
- Wear a P2 (or better) respirator and follow local rules. In Australia, work on engineered stone is tightly restricted, so check what applies before cutting.
- Inspect the blade before every use and replace it if the plate is cracked or bent, or if teeth or segments are damaged.
