Description
Overview
A heavy-duty laser welded diamond blade for walk-behind floor saws and large cut-off machines, made to cut reinforced concrete dry, steel reinforcing bar included.
Applications
- Reinforced concrete slabs, walls and footings
- Cutting through steel reinforcing bar (rebar) embedded in concrete
- Expansion joints and openings in concrete floors
- Demolition and renovation work in tough conditions
Features
- Laser welded segments stay attached under the heat of dry cutting, far more securely than brazed or sintered segments.
- Large diamond segments for long life in hard, abrasive concrete.
- Drive-pin holes suit saws with a pinned flange.
Fitting & safety
- Match the rotation arrow on the blade to the direction marked on your saw's guard.
- Check the bore matches your saw's arbor before fitting. Never force a blade onto the spindle or enlarge the bore.
- Fit the drive pins and use the saw maker's flanges. A pinned blade must never be run on a loose flange.
- Cut in steady passes and let the blade run free between cuts to cool. Do not force the blade through rebar.
- Cutting masonry, concrete and stone releases crystalline silica dust. Use water suppression or on-tool dust extraction and wear a P2 (or better) respirator.
- Inspect the blade before every use and replace it if the plate is cracked or bent, or if teeth or segments are damaged.
